Unter Stereotypes wurde schon so einige freie Fonts veröffentlicht. Jetzt wage ich einen sehr großen Schritt und möchte wieder einen Freefont (unter CreativeCommons-License) zur Verfügung stellen. St Marie Thin ist ein Ausblick auf die bald kommende Familie. Erstmal werde ich aber nicht nur den normalen Open-Type-Font online stellen, sondern hierzu auch adäquat den Webfont. Somit erhaltet ihr ein Paket mit dem es möglich ist off- und online die gleichen Sachen zu gestalten.

In dem Packet gibt es neben der gewohnten .otf-Datei jetzt auch einen Webfonts-Ordner, welcher 2 Versionen der St Marie Thin Web beinhaltet. Erstens eine normale Version und zusätzlich noch eine Version mit Small Caps. Beide Schnitte sind jeweils als .woff, .eot und .svg Dateien hinterlegt um eine möglichst große Anzahl von Browsern abzudecken.

Ein Beispiel der Webfonts kann man sich hier anschauen. Die gleichen Dateien mit dazu gehörigem CSS sind auch im Paket enthalten.

There were several freefonts releases under Stereotypes, now there is this one big step and i want to get the next freefont (under CreativeCommons-License) online. St Marie Thin is a preview for the upcoming release of a new typefamily, but this time i want to go further with that freefont-thing. There will be one normal Open-Type-Font and an optimzed Webfont, so you can design online and offline with a hiqh quality freefont from Stereotypes.

You will find in your download-folder the .otf-file and a new webfonts-folder. This folder contains one normal file (Upper- and lowercase) and a second file with a small-caps-version of St Marie Thin. Both fonts are generates as .woff, .eot and .svg, so you get the chance to see this webfont in most of the common web-browsers.
